With the right combination of fruits, you can get nearly every nutrient you need to not only survive, but thrive.

These are my top 9 smoothie recipes. They’re not arranged in any particular order, but I have saved my favorite smoothie for last.

The instructions are simple. Add ingredients to blender, blend, then serve!

1. Rock and RollRockmelon and banana smothie

Rock melon — an alternative name for cantaloupe.

So simple, you’ll be ready to roll in no time.

This smoothie requires only two ingredients. It’s simple but doesn’t skimp on flavor.

The water from the melon makes this smoothie incredibly hydrating.

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium bananas
  • 1/2 cantaloupe
  • Water as needed

2. Bango

Banana-mango smoothie

Tastes so awesome, it deserves an awesome name too.

While the name is just a combination of the two fruits it consists of, it sounds pretty bangin’, don’t you agree?

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium bananas
  • 2 mangoes
  • 1 c water

3. Pink Citrus

Your first thought after hearing pink citrus is probably grapefruit.

But this smoothie doesn’t include the controversial tart fruit.

Don’t let the name deter you from trying out this smoothie. You’ll surely enjoy this unusual combination.

Tip: Leave the green on the strawberries for extra nutrition. I never even notice they’re there!

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium bananas
  • 3 medium oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 c strawberries, roughly chopped
  • 1 c water

Carrots aren’t a typical ingredient choice for smoothies.

But carrot works well with teammates apple and peach by its side.

This combination is loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. A powerhouse of nutrition.

Ingredients:

  • 8 medium peaches, pitted
  • 1 medium apple, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1 large carrot, chopped
  • 1 c water

5. Golden Ticket

  • 5 medium apples, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Date soaking liquid
  • 1 c water

7. Pink Powerhouse

Banana, strawberry and gojj berry smothie

Pink for the hue. Powerhouse for the benefits.

Two types of berries are used in this smoothie.

Goji berries are an Asian berry that has high amounts of antioxidants. And a unique flavor.

This smoothie is a good way to dip your feet into the world of goji.

Ingredients:

  • 6 medium bananas
  • 2 c strawberries, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp goji berries, soaked
  • Goji soaking liquid
  • 1 c water

8. Bitter Caramel

Bitter Caramel smoothie

Dates in this smoothie give it a fantastically smooth caramel taste. Bananas give the smoothie more substance.

The figurative cherry on top is a teaspoon of amla.

Amla has thirty times more antioxidants than blueberries. Its wonderful bitter tone is perfectly balanced with the gooey dates.

  • 4 medium bananas
  • 1 c dates, pitted and presoaked
  • 1 tsp amla powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Date soaking liquid
  • 1 c water

The Virgin Berry will show you how magical your body can feel.

The punch of antioxidants may give you a miraculous feeling you’ve never experienced before.
