Learn to cook. You’ll Live longer

Learn how to cook!

Studies show that people who know how to cook are more likely to eat healthier and live longer. It is not only important to eat at home (eating fast food  at home doesn’t make it any healthier), but take the time to prepare food yourself.

Use whole-food ingredients and minimally processed foods to make meals. Instead of Pastaroni, boil some spaghetti and top it with some simple tomato sauce.

It does take more time to prepare food yourself, I understand. But the extra time and effort that goes into preparing nutritious and wholesome meals is repaid in good health, vitality and longevity.

Preparing meals is investing in your future self and the futures of your family members as well. In addition, you may find a new passion or hobby to replace your extra time in front of the television.

There are so many recipes and meal ideas for individuals looking to eat healthy.
