This recipe for Monkey Ice cream is simple, delicious and healthy. The recipe does take some preparation beforehand however it is worth it for scoop (or bowlful!) of this creamy, dairy-free dessert.
Vegan and free of added salt, sugar, oil, gluten, soy nuts and seeds.
Reasons to love this recipe: simple, just 2 ingredients, less than 10 minutes to make, homemade ice cream
- 9 bananas, sliced and frozen
- 1 cup water (or as needed)
Freeze the bananas beforehand. You want fully frozen bananas for this recipe. The freezing time will depend upon how small the banana slices are. When bananas are frozen, add them to a blender along with the water. Use a wooden spoon to mix the contents while blending until you have a smooth soft serve. Enjoy immediately.
