Being a basic recipe, many flavoring add-ins could be thrown in as well to make this dish have a different flavor profile. Make it more Italian with basil and parsley, spicier with chili powder or sweeter with the addition of some dates or molasses. Another vegetable such as cauliflower would be a great add-in option as well. Any left-overs are perfect on rice or, as my husband likes it, in a jaffle.

Beans Under Pressure is a quick and flavorful dish similar to baked beans. It can be made in in less than 20 minutes with the help of a pressure cooker (hence the name!). Ingredients:
- 2 cans of diced tomatoes, salt free
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 medium onion, roughly chopped
- 3 cups great northern beans, soaked/sprouted
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Black pepper
Preparation:
Prepare all ingredients according to the specifications then pressure cook everything in a pressure cooker for 12 minutes on full pressure. Quick release the pressure cooker and enjoy immediately. Serve with toast if desired
