I’ve been enjoying this turmeric lemonade recipe for months now. I decided to finally show you how to make this delicious and easy diet lemonade and ginger recipe. It’s made with Splenda, ginger, turmeric, black pepper and lemon juice.
Every time I make this lemonade recipe, a Beetles song comes into my head:
Here comes the sun, do-do-do-do. Here comes the sun and I say… it’s alright!
I can’t help it! Getting out into the sun, looking at my bright yellow drink makes me feel happy. It’s great for days when you’re lacking sunshine in your life. But it’s also perfectly paired with a bright sunny day and a good book to read.
It’s refreshing, it’s light and it’s got a slight kick to it from the ginger and black pepper.
I tend to make this when I’m thirsty but don’t want to brew hot tea or tisane. It’s quicker to make than tea and is more summer-appropriate, too.
I typically save myself the hassle of squeezing fresh lemon juice by using bottled, but that’s up to you. Using fresh ginger and turmeric instead of dry would also be delightful swaps if you have them on hand.
